UAPCS Meet our Royce Van Tassell , Executive Director Royce Van Tassell brings a wealth of experience to the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools, having previously served in a variety of positions with the Utah Taxpayers Association, Parents for Choice in Education, the American Civil Rights Institute and the Pacific Research Institute. During the last 14 years she has been extremely involved with her children’s education, and spent the last 10 years working with charter schools. She has taught classes at The Utah Charter Conference, provided training for several charter schools. She also served as Development Committee Chair and led several significant school fundraisers. She worked as a para-educator and recognizes the importance of each charter school contributor. Through the UAPCS mentoring and training program, she hopes to support boards, administrators, and educators to fulfill their charter and educate our children. Gina has additional volunteer experience through district school work and in political organizations. Gina is a regular con- tributor on the Lisa Valentine Clark Show on KBYU Radio speaking on family and lifestyle. She has a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Brigham Young University and keeps her active family together with ice packs and athletic tape. Team !
